The average response time gives you an idea of how long it takes a member to answer messages that he/she receives.

Obviously, a quicker response is more desirable, since nobody likes to be kept waiting a long time for an answer.

Note: Even though a quick response is great, you as the recipient of messages should not feel that you have to rush replies out, just to make your response time look good. Sometimes it may be more convenient to wait a while and write a better quality response.

It's up to you to juggle between response time and quality or your replies.

Why is Average Response Time important? It is important because it helps you determine how long it takes a user to respond to their oasisoflove mail. Somebody whose Average Response Time is several weeks is not as desirable to write to, as somebody else who replies in a few days or even a few hours.
